When Eduardo first approached and asked for a spot, I thought he was way too cute for me. Not that he was interested in anything other than a spot, mind you. But with all the guys in the gym, he kept coming over to me. After a few days I suggested we start working out together. My hope was that it would put us on the same schedule, which might increase my chances of running into him in the shower. I figured it was the closest I’d ever get to intimacy with him. But he one-upped me during our first official session together: “Do you want to go out on a date sometime?” he asked sheepishly as we were loading up the bench press.
