SB: Hi, Shane! Tell us about how you got started.
Shane: It’s one of those clichés, I’m afraid. I was on vacation at the beach, and a casting scout saw me. One thing led to another, and before you know it, I was in front of a camera. I really like posing for the lens. It's a total turn-on for me.
SB: And for us. Were you a porn fan before you entered the industry?
Shane: No, in fact, I was a bit naïve. I’m not from Los Angeles and have led a pretty quiet life.
SB: Up until now. So, what has been your experience thus far?
Shane: Good. I really enjoyed making the movie Doggie Style. It has a lot of story. I like that. Sex is so much in your head. When you get to act a bit, it makes the sex even hotter.
SB: What’s your idea of a great scene?
Shane: I’d love to do a scene where I connect with the guy, and things are totally real. I think that films well, and the audience gets off as much as I do.
SB: Definitely. Well, since you brought it up—what gets you off? Turns you on?
Shane: Well, hours of sex aside, cuddling is the best. But honestly, good deep-throating is nice—when I can find someone who can swallow my dick.
SB: No small feat, that. Speaking of your body, and we do so love to, what is your workout routine?
Shane: I’m pretty lucky. I can eat pretty much anything I want. With my sports activities, I don’t have to hit the gym too much. But I love to jog and lift weights a few times a week, besides playing sports with my buddies.
SB: What do you do for fun?
Shane: I love football and soccer. Other than that, anything family oriented. Simple living is the most honest to me. I can’t stand pretense.
SB: Do you prefer being in a relationship or sampling the goods?
Shane: I like being comfortable in my own skin, and when there is someone in my life to share it with me, that’s nice. I don’t feel the need to be in a relationship all the time, though.
SB: What kind of man do you like? What kind of guy would make your head turn in a crowded room?
Shane: A confident one. That air of confidence in a guy’s face and stance is really sexy. Eyes get to me too. Most guys are in pretty decent shape, and anyone can work out as hard as they want. But when you get down to it, you either do or don’t have confidence.
SB: Where do you like to meet these sexy, confident men?
Shane: I like unusual places–hiking, the park, casual settings. The worst places are pickup zones, like bars and clubs.
SB: How do you lure them in? Do you have a pickup technique?
Shane: None that I’m aware of. I prefer to be real. There either is a connection, or there isn’t.
SB: Where do you want to be in five years?
Shane: I’m working on this one. I really like a lot of the people that I’ve met in the adult industry. At some point I’d like to go behind the camera. For now, I have my entire life ahead of me, and I’m taking it one day at a time. Ask me again in a year.
